Video and Media Policies

STUDENTS WHO DO NOT WANT TO APPEAR IN ANY VIDEOS MUST WEAR ONE OF THE PINS AVAILABLE ON THE FRONT DESK TO LET OTHERS KNOW YOU DO NOT WANT TO APPEAR ON VIDEOS. At Studieaux Heaux we believe in the autonomy of our students.  YOU are the master of your own needs, and the burden is on you to let others know that you do not wish to be in videos, photos or posted on social media.  The easiest way to do this is by having a conversation with the students around you.  (We are big on communication here at Studieaux Heaux.)  If, that conversation feels overwhelming at first, please feel free to grab a pin when you walk in the door and wear it througout  class.  The pin will let people know of your desire to NOT be in pictures and videos.

Our Social Media Commitment

Students who express a desire to not be in videos or on social media will not be!  If, as sometimes happens, we make a mistake and you see yourself in a video please reach out asap and ask us to take it down.  We will be happy to.

If an instructor asks to take a Video or Photo during class, please assume they are doing so for use on Social Media.  It is up to you, the student, to remove yourself from the video or communicate in such a way that the instructor knows not to get you on camera.  They will not ask every time.

We LOVE it when our students post their journey on Social Media and we hope that you will tag us @studieaux.heaux when you do so.   We may reach out to you and ask for a copy or for permission to repost.  We will not repost without your permission - unless prior authorization has been given that we have carte blanche to do so.   Photos and Videos posted on your stories on Instagram may be reposted without express permission received as the media disappears quickly.

Any and all photos and videos that an agent of Studieaux Heaux has taken or any photo and video we have been given consent to share may end up on social media, our studio website or any printed material that we circulate.
